THE ECO-LISTENING CIRCLES WILL BE IN SPANISH
We invite you to join the Eco-listening Circles, a space for regenerative community dialogues where deep listening and group feedback become tools to illuminate new paths. In this circle, both human and ecosystemic voices are incorporated, promoting an ecopsychological perspective that connects with collective wisdom and nature to support personal and community decision-making and growth.
These gatherings are designed for those who face personal, community or professional challenges, and seek group guidance to overcome obstacles, unblock projects or enrich processes of healing and attunement with nature. Through the practice of deep listening and regenerative dialogue, a space is created where every voice is valued and every contribution becomes a seed for transformation.
What are Eco-Listening Circles?
The Eco-Listening Circles methodology is inspired by Otto Scharmer’s Theory U and Joanna Macy’s reconnecting work, two approaches that invite us to integrate full presence, listening levels and ecosystemic voices. In this circle, the group becomes a field of collective wisdom, where challenges are approached from a holistic perspective that includes both human processes and the dynamics of nature.
This process is based on the belief that true transformation occurs when connecting deeply with the heart of the participants and with the spirit of the earth. Integrating the voices of nature and future generations enriches the group’s vision and opens doors to new perspectives and solutions.
Structure of the sessions
Each session lasts approximately 2 hours and is structured as follows:
- Welcome and introduction of the participants (15 min): An opening space to get to know the participants and establish the energy of the circle.
Unity (10 min): Meditation or visualisation to enter into a state of presence and prepare the ground for deep listening. - Introduction (10 min): The case presenter shares his challenges, questions, intentions and learnings he is looking for.
- Case presentation (30 min): The presenter explains the situation where he/she needs help or input from the group.
- Deep listening (5 min): Participants listen in silence, connecting with the heart and resonance of what is shared.
- Reflecting (30 min): Participants share the images, metaphors, feelings and insights that emerged during the listening. Then, the voice of ancestors, future generations, the earth or any other presence relevant to the case is invoked.
- Presenter’s reflection (5 min): The presenter reflects on what he/she has heard and what resonates with him/her.
- Regenerative dialogue (10 min): A space to generate new perspectives and possible pathways for the case presented.
- Closing ritual (10 min): Group thanks and closure of the session.
Dates and times:
Sessions will be held on a bimonthly basis starting in April, at the following times:
17:00 to 19:00 (Rome/Madrid time), and 10:00 to 12:00 (Colombia time).
The dates are:
Wednesday 2 April
Wednesday 4 June
Wednesday 6 August
Wednesday 1 October
Wednesday 3 December
We invite all interested IES Members to present their cases!
If you have a case you would like to present and work on with the circle, we will make a call in advance to schedule the cases to be discussed in each session. This will allow each meeting to be as enriching as possible for all participants.
Rotational Facilitation:
For those interested in learning how to facilitate these circles, we offer the possibility of rotating the facilitation of the sessions, which allows for an exchange of experiences and group learning.
Be part of this regenerative circle! A space where collective wisdom, ecopsychology and connection with nature merge to generate new perspectives, heal and transform together.
We will have limited space in the circles to optimise participation.
The ECO-ESCUCCHA CIRCLE is exclusively for IES members and we look forward to sharing this moment with you!
