Dear IES Community Members,

We are pleased to announce the start of the Ecopsychological Wisdom Circles 2025, an exclusive space to explore, share, and cultivate the deep connection between humanity and nature from an ecopsychological perspective. These virtual gatherings are designed to foster enriching and reflective dialogue, where essential topics about the relationship between humans and the Earth, mental health, and collective well-being will be addressed.

Through the participation of experts, interactive activities, and shared reflections, the Ecopsychological Wisdom Circles will become a bridge toward deeper understanding and regenerative action, inviting you to be part of a global community committed to the healing and care of the web of life.

First Cycle: Dialogues with the Earth

First Quarter of 2025

Monthly, Mondays, from 19:00 to 20:30 Rome/Madrid Time

This first cycle invites us to align with natural cycles and explore how they can inspire inner balance. In a safe and reflective environment, we will explore how the rhythms of the Earth can be transformed into active principles of regeneration, both in our personal and collective lives.

Topics we will explore in this cycle:

  • The Cycles of Nature in Human Psychology: How natural rhythms inspire inner balance, helping us reconnect with the vital flow of the Earth. This meeting will offer a free movement space inspired by natural cycles and regeneration. Marian Ríos, February 10, 2025
  • Eco-Literacy: Introduction to a new language to overcome anthropocentric thinking and reimagine our relationship with the natural world from a more holistic and profound perspective. Zselyke Molnos, March 10, 2025
  • Earthfulness: Listening to the Earth: The art of cultivating deep and attentive listening to the Earth, learning to perceive its signs and respond with respect and harmony. Alessandra Melucci, April 14, 2025

In the upcoming quarters of 2025, we will have three more exciting cycles:

  • Ecological Crisis and Ecopsychology – Second Semester of 2025
This cycle is geared towards preparing for our congress in Brazil, where we will explore how ecopsychology offers tools to face global ecological crises. Topics will include community resilience to disasters, the concept of the Symbiocene as a regenerative era, and the crucial role of ecopsychology in war environments and climate change risk perception.
  • Ecological Health – Third Semester of 2025
This cycle focuses on healing ecological trauma and how co-regulation processes with the web of life can help us heal both as individuals and as a society. We will also explore the use of nature as therapy and eco-empathy as an antidote to eco-anxiety, proposing nature-based solutions for mental and emotional well-being.
  • Human Voices for Life – Fourth Semester of 2025
This cycle will reflect on how to recover our ancestral connection with the Earth and weave just bonds between human and more-than-human communities. Topics will include the rewilding of the human soul, ecopsychology and social justice, love and reciprocity with nature, and how ancestral knowledge can guide us toward a healthier relationship with the natural world.

Exclusive for IES Members

The Ecopsychological Wisdom Circles will be a unique opportunity to delve into these urgent and transformative topics. We invite you to join these spaces of knowledge, integration, and regenerative action, where together we can inspire change toward a more harmonious and sustainable future.
